Santiago Molina is the dad, designer, and developer building Between Contractions while he and Alejandra wait for Aarón in Colombia.
This project comes from a real family experience, but it does not turn that experience into clinical authority.
A tool built for our own family
Alejandra and I are expecting Aarón around October 19, 2026. As we prepared for labor, I wanted a timer that would remain clear, private, bilingual, and calm during a moment that already asks for complete attention.
The experience I do bring
I am a product designer and developer. I can explain how the app works, what it records, how it handles data, and why I made specific product decisions. I can also share our first-hand story as expecting parents.
The boundary that matters
I am not a medical professional. Health guides summarize linked sources such as ACOG and the NHS and always defer to an individual care plan. No article currently has an independent clinical review.
